Account Creation

To use certain features of our Services, you may need to create an account. You can register directly with an email and password, through Google authentication, or through LinkedIn authentication (coming soon).

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as necessary
  • Keep your password confidential and secure
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to disable any user account if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your account shows signs of fraudulent activity.

Use of Services

License to Use Services

Resume and Content Submission

By uploading resumes, job descriptions, or other content to our Services:

  1. You grant us the right to process, analyze, and adjust such content using our AI systems
  2. You represent that you have the necessary rights to the content you submit
  3. You understand that personal details (name, surname, address, email, phone) are not shared with AI systems but are kept in our secure database

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content, features, and functionality are owned by CVAdjustee and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain all rights to your resumes and other content you submit. However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Services.

Subscription and Payment

Subscription Plans

We may offer various subscription plans for our Services. The specific features, limitations, and pricing of each plan will be detailed on our website.

Payment and Billing

If you subscribe to a paid plan:

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription plan
  • You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these Terms
  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the Services until the end of your current billing period.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Services will immediately cease
  • We may delete your account and all associated data
  • Any provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall remain in effect

Disclaimers

No Guarantees

CVAdjustee is designed to help improve your resume for specific job opportunities, but we cannot guarantee:

  • That you will receive any job interviews or offers
  • That employers will find your adjusted resume more appealing
  • The accuracy of our AI's analysis of job requirements
  • That our Services will meet your specific requirements
  • That our Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free

Third-Party Content and Links

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party websites or services linked to from our Services.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL CVADJUSTEE, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICES.

CVADJUSTEE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE OUR SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE ACTION GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) $100 USD.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CVAdjustee, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the Services after any changes to the Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
